A break from the science.

I just got done watching Tangled, it was a pretty good movie.

Well anyway, I thought that I needed a little break from all the science stuff I've been posting (actually I just ran out of ideas on what to post for now :P)

So I decided to post some random stuff.

For example, are you aware that the college student debt in the US now tops the credit card debt?
This combined with unemployment being about 9% in the US is not a good thing.
Economists at top universities say that you could possibly make more money in the long run at a skilled labor job rather than pursuing a 4-year degree.

Personally I'd rather take the risk and at least get a 4-year degree, I wouldn't enjoy a normal job.

Let me know your opinions on this! I'm interested in hearing them.

  3. i think what economists are trying to point out is that with the debt you're likely to incur, most of your future income will go to paying off that debt. :(

  4. I wish I put more effort into education. And now I'm kinda trapped in a position where it would be very difficult to survive if I were to go back into it. I never really got along with the whole lecture/classroom thing anyway tbh.

  6. I rather be a full time student, and owe tons of loans then have a mediocre job.

  8. Yeah, in today's economy however more people are actually opting into going to college because they expect that by the time their 4 years of college is up, the economy will be better :D. Just something I learned in econ!
