I know you've seen an artificial plant before but...

One of the greatest things that could happen for consumers in the energy industry would be cheap easy energy. Wouldn't it also be nice to make that energy from sunlight and water like plants do?

Well now you can! MIT's Nocera research lab has created a cheap and very efficient "Artificial Leaf". What these leaves do is basically recreate the plant's photosynthesis process and turn it into usable electricity!

They can power a entire house and still last for about 45 hours!

Let me hear what you think!

  1. Pretty nice invention, can see plenty of uses for it!

  2. that should be very useful, thanks!

  3. so we can now have literally green energy?

  4. That's very interesting. I feel like a huge nerd for knowing how the photosynthesis process works :(

  5. This is great stuff, I hope there will be some uses in the future.
